The Origin of the name Main Street Gandhi:

I chose the term MAIN STREET because I live in “Mainstreet” America.  The Wikipedia definition of the word is as follows:  “American cultural usage - In the general sense, the term "Main Street"refers to a place of traditional values.  In the North American media, "Main Street," or the interests of
everyday working-class people and small business owners, is sometimes contrasted with "Wall Street" (in the United States) or "Bay Street"(in Canada), symbolizing the interests of corporate capitalism. For example, in the middle 20th century the Republican Party was sometimes divided between "Wall Street" (socially liberal) and "Main Street"
(socially conservative) factions, of which the latter came to
predominate late in the century.
"Main Street," was an extremely popular term during the economic crises in 2008, proposed bailout of U.S. financial system, the 2008 presidential campaign and debates.”

I choose the term GANDHI because he spearheaded the unification of hundred of millions of people for one major cause: to rebuild the pride and ownership of India through the use of the most logical and theoretical approach in history.

As I listened to all the critics about the failing economic crisis and the resistance to a governmental "bailout", I wondered, what would I do if I had enough money and the opportunity to press a financial reset button. Simplistic as it was, the concept was taught to me as a child by my mother. Our financial meltdown is almost similar to a basket of apples with a few bad ones amongst them. Please read the following idea and help develop it as we all try to assist in the resurrection of our country to the nation we once were.
